“My name is Peter Stormare. I was very young when I started training my voice. Three years at the Academy Of Acting, then 12 years at The Royal National Theatre of Stockholm. I have had many fantastic voice coaches, not to mention American Voice Coaches when I got to Hollywood. Over my 30 + years in Hollywood I have had very talented coaches helping me to refine my American accent and to guide me how to maneuver dialects and different accents. But I must admit that Rebecca Petersson surpasses most of them. She was by my side 24/7 during ViaPlays 'The Box'. It was a long shoot and I had a ton of lines that had to be delivered with a Southern accent.
Rebecca guided to conquer each line. She was there listening to every take, correcting me and encouraging me. Rebecca is more than an accent coach, she is also very aware of how to place your voice so it becomes accurate. Rebecca's patience and dedication is something I do miss over here in Hollywood.
